Group Leader: Christine Ditchfield. Christine is a former member of the Association of Speakers Clubs. The association exists to improve the art of speaking in public and to promote and encourage proficiency in the spoken word.
Speaking exercises the brain and can be fun. Why not come along develop and tone your skills, stretch your imagination, jog your memory, lift your mood and challenge yourself amongst friends?
The next meeting is scheduled to take place on Wednesday 11th November
At the next meeting Ray Hill will be giving a talk during the first half.
If you wish to speak please consider inviting 4 guests to a dinner party that you are hosting. Explain why you have invited them. They can be from the past, from the present, famous or infamous. Ten minutes will be allowed for each speaker, if we run out of time those wishing to speak can do so at the next meeting.
Cost £1.50 includes refreshments
