At Present all meetings are held at The Masonic Hall Sandbach.

The meetings are normally held on the first Friday of each month though this is flexible to suit the group membership.

We start at 1:30 and finish around 3:30 depending on the session content.

The group is for all camera users, whether you have compact camera, hi-tech sophisticated kit or even just a mobile phone. This group is for you, whatever your knowledge or previous experience.

We are exactly what it says on the lid and the aim is to help each other to produce better photographs. We share ideas and try to develop our skills and our knowledge. Whatever your field of interest, be it holiday snaps, family photos, landscapes, or any of the many other genre or fields of interest we can try and help you achieve your aims.

Most meetings, we will have a topic to discuss, relating to camera use, taking better photographs, or maybe post processing.

This is a hands on group and you will be encouraged to participate by sharing your images and particularly your  knowledge and experience so that we can all learn from each other

An assignment that is enjoyable but will encourage members to "think different" will be set after each session, usually related to the topic(s) discussed at the meeting and the resulting images will be shown where possible, at the next session.

This assignment is of course not compulsory but all group members including the group leader are encouraged to participate.  I like to encourage honest critique of the images shown.

We have use of a digital projector and screen so most group members bring along their work on a USB memory stick

We occasionally arrange photo-shoot events that we can all take part in and enjoy.
