No experience is necessary. Members need an interest in, and love of, poetry.

A programme is decided at the beginning of each term.

Sometimes everyone contributes. There may be works of a specific poet or poems on a particular theme, such as Spring or war. Sometimes a visiting speaker or a poet takes the session.

The group is very friendly and accepting, with no pretensions.
