Dates for 2026/27 year are: 

8 September 2026 to 16 December 2026 with no session on 27 October 2026.

5 January 2027 to 22 June 2027 with no sessions on 16 February 2027; 30 March - 6 April 2027and 25 May 2027

This friendly group creates beautiful cards and related items using a variety of techniques using mainly paper and card and adding suitable embellishments.

No experience is necessary.

Initially you will need a cutting mat, adhesive and double sided tape, craft knife, scissors, pencil, bone folder and ruler.  Eventually you may wish to purchase a few more items as you get more experienced.  We have a small supply of some items which the group shares.

We are a 'self-help' group, ie. each member takes a turn in leading the group. They will decide on a project to make and create a sample.  They supply the materials and instructions and, if necessary, demonstrate the techniques needed to make the card.  Anyone new to card making will not be expected to do this until they are quite confident..

We are a very friendly group and are always willing to help each other.  We have an active WhatsApp group for those that want to use it to keep in touch and share ideas. we post our weekly project on WhatsApp

We pay £5.00 every 5 weeks (in advance) and each week contribute 50p towards the materials provided.  Any surplus is held by the Leader to buy items for the benefit of the whole group or to replenish items used regularly.
