Bowlers should bring their own woods but there is no special level of skill required. If you don't have any woods, please let us know as we may be able to source some (no guarantee!).

Assistance available for new bowlers with little or no previous (recent!) experience.

Crown green bowling takes place on the Sandbach Park greens from April to the end of September and continues indoors from the beginning of October to the end of March on mats.

Indoor bowling will start again on Thursday 1st October. Please note the earlier start time of 1.30. It would be helpful if you don't arrive too early (say before 1.15pm) as the venue may charge the U3A for additional time if we do.
