Bowls Group 1 is known as "The Saxons". 

During the summer, we play Crown Green bowls on the upper green (sometimes known as "The Marriott House" green) on Sandbach Park.  We meet on Wednesday mornings from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon.  The outdoor season lasts from the beginning of April until the greens close at the end of September.
