In 2023 we had our usual busy year of gardening entertainment and information.
In January we met at Buckingham Garden Centre for an informal get-together plus a cheeky cake or two.
In February we discussed a favourite garden feature, either in our own garden or in a garden we had visited
In March we designed our own garden, or an imaginary one
In April we visited Waterperry Gardens near Oxford which is a very comprehensive collection of garden areas, plants, information etc, plus delicious teas
In May we ventured to Broughton Grange garden
June saw us revisit Abbott’s House Garden in Winslow, tucked away near the parish church
July was a visit to a lovely private garden in Lillingstone Lovell, not very far away
September was a visit to Swallows Nursery to check our their show gardens and hear their vision of their future plans
October we enjoyed a very informative talk by Chris Day from Buckingham Garden Centre - Gardening in a Changing Climate
November we again discussed a favourite garden feature, either in our own garden or in a garden we had visited
January 2024 saw us back at our Garden Centre for a chat and cake as the community panto uses our indoor space in January
February was a quiz
March: to be continued but lots of ideas for upcoming visits are coming to fruition courtesy of Jenny, Carolyn and Helen
